Scheepjes - The After Party no.51 - The Book Lover's Wrap - Knitted Whirl

The Book Lover’s Wrap is made using just one yarn cake of Scheepjes Whirligig. At a spacious 180cm x 40cm, this knit wrap combines cosiness with style whilst showcasing the beautiful gradient of Scheepjes Whirligig.

To make sure you have enough yarn left to work the final garter stitch (knit all rows). section, weigh the yarn before you start so that you know exactly how much the yarn cake weighs and weight it again after you have worked the beginning garter stitch section. The amount used for this first section is the same amount you will need for the final 10 rows of the garter section, but do leave some margin. Do not block this finished shawl, otherwise it will lose some of its texture.

This pattern is beginner friendly and uses just knit and purl stitches. 

Made using 3.5mm knitting needles
